NY Jets 23, Oakland 3.
Unbelievable. Never would have thought that they would make it to the playoffs, especially after last year.
If you're a Jets fan like me, why not visit The Jets Blog?

I just found Daytrotter through a mention in a recent issue of Magnet. Based in Rock Island, IL, they catch bands passing through while on tour and invite them in for a brief recording session at Future Appletree Studio 1. They've had something like 40 bands play so far, so it's a great way to catch up on what's new in indie rock. Harry and the Potters, Sunset Rubdown, Catfish Haven and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin are just a few of the bands you'll find in the Daytrotter archives.
I just got a hit from this site. Someone looking for Game Theory mp3s visited. I checked out SonicX - it looks like a quick way to track down mp3s from your favorite bands.
Ignore that whole "pardoning Nixon" thing. The nation needed to heal. I like Ricky's take on it over at Bottle of Blog.
I've got nothing against the guy, aside from him being a lifelong bag man for defense contractors who rewarded him with seats on about a thousand different boards in exchange for selling out his constituents, or for undermining our democracy by selling the Presidential pardon in exchange for the Presidency and lying to Congress about it, or for, with his stupid Whip Inflation Now buttons, trying to convince The People that public relations was actually policy.
Also, I kind of didn't like him for establishing the precedent of pardoning government criminals before they were even indicted or tried so that:
a) the American People never even know the truth about Their government; and
b) criminals, who should be in prison, are, instead, every four or eight years are right back in their old jobs.If Lou Reed is the godfather of punk, Gerald Ford is the godfather of the Bush administration.
Fireball XL5 is a radio show hosted by Frank Seglenieks on CKMS 100.3 FM out of Waterloo, ON. It runs every other week from 6 to 8 pm (EST, I'm guessing). Frank links to our page and has a few good things to say about TGLF/AOTP.
Thanks for the link, Frank!
Let's review the 1996 album from Miracle Legion, Portrait of a damaged family. Unavailable on GEMM and going for $60 on Amazon. This was the final ML CD. Mark Mulcahy has carried on with his solo career on the Mezzotint label.
01. Miracle Legion - You're my blessing
A weird show for a holiday - lots of R&B and 40 minutes of Richard Pryor. Oh, and four Christmas songs (if you count "2000 miles"). Part 1a was not broadcast because the computer running our encoder was knocked offline briefly.
