Unbelievable Truth - Sorrythankyou - Tracks 1-2.

The second and final studio album from the underappreciated Unbelievable Truth, led by Thom Yorke's younger brother, Andy. It's hard to come by, but not impossible. Three copies available on Amazon - ranging from $18 to $32. If anyone knows how I can get a copy of Misc. Music, their third record overall (b-sides and unreleased songs,  plus their last live show), I'd be ever so grateful. ($127 on GEMM!)

Weekend in DC.

Spent the weekend in Herndon, VA visiting my good friend Michael. The wife and kids were away so we partied hard. OK, not that hard at all. A trip to Record & Tape Exchange in Fairfax (and you'll be hearing some of them this coming Friday), The Good Shepherd, dinner at Famous Dave's, expensive scotch, and episodes of Dead Like Me, Strangers With Candy and Arrested Development.

A good time was had by both.

Day 90: Mail call.

I came home angry today, angry enough to do another episode of the SS podcast. (I haven't done one in a while.) But my certificate was waiting for me in the mailbox when I got home, so I've got school districts to apply to!

I've noticed that ever since I got word that my certificate came through, my mood has been much improved. I even applied to a school district tonight.

As of today, my New Jersey certification was issued. This is a good thing because after the day I had today, I may rethink that whole staying until the end of the year idea.
