I missed the last two shows - one due to Kyle's birthday party and last night due to Kim being sick with a stomach bug (that I picked up today). AOTP heads to its permanent new time slot of 7 pm EST starting Friday, July 27. AOTP will then take another two weeks off (with Jumpin' JB stepping in) and then return for good on August 17. I'm not sure if I'm going to post the backlog of shows - probably not worth the effort.
It's been a busy 26 days for us and Kyle, but I take him back to Minnesota tomorrow. I haven't really had the energy to blog, but that should change in the coming weeks. Overall, he had a good time and we had a big birthday party for him last weekend.
I have officially been hired as a full-time teacher in the school I subbed in at the tail end of the school year. That scene should start to heat up in late August.
Other major changes coming down the pike: Kim and I are finally starting to lean towards getting a dog. We are also kicking around the idea of adopting a child in the next couple of years. A lot of research has to be done first. I'm pretty happy about it overall. These last few years have been about getting all of the pieces of my life back in order: love, career, home, family, and now kids. It's not a done deal, but the exploration should make these next few months quite interesting.
