Apparently, all this blog is good for lately is to post MP3s. Traffic seems to be going up, though. Everyone is looking for rips of the Colin Meloy EP of Morrissey covers. Go to this post for more information on that.
Today's MP3 comes from the probably somewhat overhyped but certainly not undertalented Dresden Dolls. The Boston-based duo performs a style of music they refer to as "Brechtian Punk Cabaret." OK, then. I just picked up a couple of their CDs from Newbury Comics - the live collection A is for accident and their self-titled CD from last year. It's pretty out there, and a big change from the stuff I've been posting so far. See what you think - here is "Girl anachronism".
I liked the video for "Coin-Operated Boy". You can watch it in the iTunes Music Store. One of my favorite features. :-)
